Auction- 2021 Tour de France Yellow Jersey by KALVT

Is there anything more gruelling than 21 days in the seat as a pro-cyclist competing in the Tour de France? The 108th edition is one of the three grand cycling tours of the year! From the 26th June to the 18th July, the race covers a distance of 3414 kms with stage 7 being 249.1 km alone. (The longest stage since the year 2000.) Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) has worn the yellow jersey (general classification) since Stage 8, as well as the young rider classification jersey for the entire tour. He is the defending 2020 champion.

This art commission measures 30 mm in diameter on a 10 cm x 10 cm cold pressed page. The medium used is watercolour. It is framed in a light teak wood- the smallest frame measuring 11 cm x 11 cm, within a larger frame measuring 33 cm x 33 cm.

All 33 UCI World Road Tour Race winner’s jerseys will be individually pained, and framed, available for purchase. The World tour started with the opening stage of the UAE tour on the 21st of February and is scheduled to conclude with the final stage of the Tour of Guangxi on 19th October.
